Hi, my name is Anna! I started Roses and Thorns Books as a book review, literary discussion, and writing site for curious minds. My particular interests are young adult, children’s, thriller, and romance books, as well as those which glorify God. I regularly feature book recommendations and reviews, the format of which are very simple: the ‘roses’ are the positives from each book whilst the ‘thorns’ are any negatives. Together they are collated to give a traditional star rating. That pretty much sums up it up! Why read an essay when you can read a short, sweet, and informative review? Any posts from 2019 do not follow this format as I have recently revamped the reviewing and rating system. My blog also features ending explanations, writer’s tips, tags, and other fun bookish posts.
